One billion rising campaign against violence

 ”White Ribbon” said to be the world’s largest male-led movement to end men’s violence against women- Austrialian Campaign.
White Ribbon has primary prevention initiatives, an annual campaign and White Ribbon Day – Nov 25th, where men are encouraged to wear a white ribbon as a stance against VAW. They seek to change the attitudes and behaviours that lead to and perpetuate men’s violence against women, by engaging men and boys to lead social change.

US campaign: The purpose of the Return to Manhood Project is to inspire men to reach out to their sons or other young men in their lives and forthrightly mentor them on their journey to manhood. What is the role of a man, what is expected of a man? ‘Return to Manhood’ has a manual with lessons and activities. Costs $10. 3 year programme – Could be part of school curriculum.  Programme is being piloted in Kenya
