The Federation of Medical Women of Canada had its annual general meeting and education session on October 1 and 2, 2022 in Vancouver, BC. The title was Evolving with Confidence. There were excellent presentations on leadership, equity, diversion and inclusion, as well as on the HPV work the Federation is so well known for. We were delighted to have Dr. Padmini Murthy, the immediate past Secretary General of MWIA, and Dr. Theresa Rohr Kirchgraber, AMWA President, speak on global inequities in menstruation and abortion care in the USA post Roe v. Wade. It was particularly meaningful to have Elder Roberta Price from the First Nations named as the honorary member, in a time when Canada is so involved in truth and reconciliation with its First Nations people.
