In a simple but very emotional act, we honored DR. ANITA AMAT VILLACIS, Past-President and Founder of the APM, Ecuador chapter, for having been designated PHYSICIAN OF THE CENTURY by the College of Physicians of the province of Guayas-Ecuador. In addition, she was also designated MOTHER SYMBOL 2023, by our alliance.
This tribute, well deserved for the fruitful institutional and professional work carried out by Dr. Amat during her long career, was held at her residence on May 17, 2023, in the presence of her dear colleagues Drs. Mercedes Viteri, National Coordinator of the APM Ecuador chapter, Julia Palacios, Guillermina Yoong, Norma Arana, Past-Presidents, and Gina Del Rosario current president.
