Traditionally GMWA organizes two Scientific Practical Conferences during the year, dedicated to topics of practical medicine, as well as women’s health issues. In the autumn GMWA organized a very interesting Scientific Conference, in Telavi, Kakheti Region of Georgia. Well known doctors in Georgia presented on the topics of cardiology, neurology, and hepatology. The conference was well attended by family doctors, cardiologists and neurologists of Kakheti Region. At the end of the conference the GMWA President, Prof. Nino Zhvania awarded two family doctors with special certificates and presents.
GMWA has updated its web site. It is now more engaging and reflects all activities of GMWA since its establishment. The new website is www.gmwa.org.ge
