MWIA representative to the standing committee to European physicians (CPME) is MWIA Past President Prof. Dr. Dr. Bettina Pfleiderer.

The Standing Committee of European Doctors (Comité Permanent des Médecins Européens) is composed of the leading representative national medical organisations within the European Union. The aim of the organisation is to coordinate the opinions and interests of the professional medical organisations across different areas of health and social policy in order to be able to present European institutions with a unified voice (https://www.cpme.eu/)

MWIA representative to the standing committee to European doctors (CMME), MWIA past president Prof. Dr. Dr. Bettina Pfleiderer, participated at the General Assembly and Board virtual meetings in November 2021.

There is a change in CPME leadership and Dr. Christiaan Keijzer from the Netherlands is new CPME president 2022-2024. Dr Keijzer stated “It is an honour to be elected as President of CPME and I aim to build on the excellent work of the outgoing Executive Committee in increasing the visibility of our association at the European level. I also look forward to strengthening our cooperation with our partner European Medical Organisations.”. MWIA congratulates Dr. Keijzer and wishes him all the best in his new role.
