Unfortunately during the past weeks the world has been made deeply aware of the horrific effects of the current war, which has resulted in displacement of people and humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.
On behalf of the Medical Women’s International Association (MWIA), as women physicians we express our solidarity and support to the medical community and the citizens of Ukraine who are experiencing an ongoing humanitarian crisis in their country. Additionally as women physicians working globally we condemn the targeting of medical facilities during the current crisis.
