MWIA is launching this virtual hub for women’s health education called Improving Women’s Health Globally Through On-Line Education and Training (I-Glowe) project. Supported by the Gates foundation Grand Challenges, the project is being carried out in four countries, – India, Nigeria , United States and Zambia. The project will develop educational materials for healthcare providers and researchers on women’s health, focusing on the fact that women are affected uniquely, differently and disproportionately for conditions spanning most areas of health. The materials will provide practical, clinically relevant, and contextualised information encompassing common communicable, non-communicable, and chronic conditions across the life course, and they will be available on-line on the MWIA website mwia.net free of charge for a global audience.
