The 10th annual conference of CMWA was held in Beijing from 30th August to 1st September. Dr. Bong Ok Kim, VP, WPR, attended the event and delivered a keynote speech on Women & Health. Approx. 1,000 women doctors participated in the conference from all over China. During the opening ceremony, there was a magnificent event for the launch of The BMJ Collection of Promoting Women’s Health in China. This is a series of articles published in the British Medical Journal (BMJ), resulting from a collaboration between Peking University and the BMJ, which set out successes and challenges for the country in an era of growing rights and falling fertility.
