Shortly before the MWIA congress in Cairo the German National Association elected a new Executive Committee. For the first time there are 2 Co-Presidents: Prof. Dr. Barbara Puhahn-Schmeiser and Jana Pannenbäcker. The new NC is Dr. Sonja Mathes.
Planning for future meetings and for the congress in 2027 has begun.
Contact with the Medical Women’s Associations in the neighbouring countries is being established. Visits will be made in the first half of 2026.
The Senior MWIA Committee is well connected and continues to meet every 3 months.
