On Saturday April 25th, Women in Medicine Lesotho (WIML) hosted a luncheon in Maseru for 30 female attendees that featured one of Lesotho's prominent Family Law practitioners, Advocate Makau. Reflecting WIML's wider engagement with women, attendees included females from diverse fields such as nursing, psychology, radiography, relationship management and the marketing sector. Advocate Makau addressed life-stage topics ranging from "dating to death" focusing exclusively on women. Attendees learnt of legal considerations in relationships, rights in marriages, property accumulation and management, family protection and planning including estate administration and inheritance.

Also at the luncheon, WIML President Dr. Letlala presented the association's proposed Lifestyle Package which outlined the benefits of membership. Additionally, she introduced a membership health card to track vital health indicators. Both the package and the health card are part of the broader WIML Work-life wellness planning for members.
