The EWL approved a new membership fee policy at the last GA

Over 100 feminists from across Europe met online for EWL´s General Assembly (10-11th of June) (Fig. 1) to discuss EWL´s work plan, strategic frame work and political priorities. Bettina Pfleiderer, MWIA´s rep to the EWL and current EWL vice President is chairing the EWL membership committee. After3 years of hard work the membership committee presented its new membership fee policy to be based on sliding scales. This new policy was approved by the GA and will be piloted 2023-2024. After this period the new membership fee policy will be evaluated and if needed further optimised.

At the GA EWL´s new Secretary General Dina Vardaramatou also introduced herself to the members.

A new emergency motion was also adopted which asked the EWL to assess how the Ukraine women organisation could become EWL members in the near future.
