Welcome to the MWIA progress report from Central Asia region, after the long period of COVID-19 and its impact on medical health services and patient care. Getting Together we can do more! All inputs are interesting.

The Thai Medical Women’s Association organized a Roaming Academic Conference with the theme ‘’Medical Knowledge’ on 19-08-2022 at Nan hospital to refresh medical professionals after COVID-19. The highlight topics were ‘Long COVID Syndrome’ in Paediatric and Adult Medicine with experience-sharing from a Nan physician, Dementia- Risk Factors, Diagnosis of BPSD, management and prevention, Anti-aging Medicine Plus Fit Firming from Exercise.

The Association of Medical Women in India organised a Webinar ” UNSUNG STARS” on 22-09-2022.They paid their respects and recognised the women doctors who along with their professional duties conduct/ conducted social and medical services for their population. Mumbai branch organised CME ” Obesity in Midlife” on 27-09-2022. West Bengal branch organised orations on 20-08-2022 and 24-09-2022. A Health check-up camp was held on 20-09-2022. Nagpur branch – ” Friendship Day celebration” on 26-07-2022 and a Cultural Evening with members.
