In Puebla, Dr Veronica Clara Torres Rodriguez organised a hybrid meeting on November 24-25, 2023. It was a well-attended event, with the participation of ABMM’s Dr Nise Yamaguchi (Update on cancer disease), Dr Fatima Alves Abreu (Sleep disorders in women), Dr Marilene Melo (heart attacks in women) and Dr Nelci Zanon (update on pediatric neurosurgery and fetal medicine). We thank the welcome video sent by Dr Eleanor Nwadinobi MWIA President. The most important achievement in the MWIA Latin America region is bringing Mexico back as a Country member rather than having only an individual member. This is the result of Dr Veronica’s hard work in the last years.
