It was a privilege and honour to welcome our Secretary-General to a virtual meeting organised by Drs. Mandakini Megh and Usha Saraiya on 19th November 2023. Dr. Mariam Jashi was in New Delhi for a high level meeting with a Global Group of Parliamentarians, and the Association of Medical Women in India (AMWI) took that opportunity to meet her virtually. Dr. Jashi was introduced to all the Executive Council Members of AMWI. Dr. Megh, President of AMWI gave a well-illustrated talk on the Past, Present and Future of AMWI. Each Branch also gave a resume of the work they are doing. We were happy that Dr. Darunee Buddhari the V.P. for Central Asia joined us and invited everyone to the 10th Central Asia Regional Conference in Bangkok 22-24 June 2024. Dr. Jashi informed us about her work with UNITE – Global Group of Parliamentarians and introduced us to Mr. Om, the Parliamentarian who was the host in New Delhi. Their work on Global Control of Sepsis is really commendable.

28th-29th October ’23 – President AMWI Dr Mandakini Megh , and Dr Usha Saraiya organized an AMWI session in the national Conference of FOGSI & Thane Obstetric and Gynaecological Society. Free Papers, posters, prizes were sponsored by AMWI.
AMWI has conducted the Golden Jubilee Award 2023, two awardees will be celebrated.
It is a great privilege to extend AMWI services, branches, and Chapters from the grass root level to the district hospitals all over India, including Kolhapur, Nashik, and Paratwada chapters.

16 September 2023 – BHADO PARVA activity to celebrate festivities was carried out. The celebration of festivities included a talk on the importance of festivals in Indian culture and its significance to our daily lives.
13th December’23 – RING THE NEW YEAR WITH BANG a celebration in the form of games and fun activities.
