MWIA Awards committee
For a pilot phase (1st July 2021- 31st May 2022), a MWIA awards committee will be installed to assess the various fund applications and to recommend to the MWIA Exco what to fund. The co-chairs for the awards committee will be the treasurer and chair of finance and one representative from each MWIA region each.
Criteria for applying for membership of the MWIA Awards committee:
- Applicants should have experience as scientific reviewer and profound knowledge about either gender sensitive medicine, gender-based violence, gender in health or female leadership.
- Only those from national associations or individual members being current with dues and in good standing for at least 2 years are eligible to apply for membership in this committee.

Please submit your application in the form of a written statement of 100 words describing why are you are interested to serve in this committee and your scientific background. Deadline for submission is the 31st May 2021 using a google form. Members for this committee will be selected on the strength of their application.
