During the period from April to July 2026, MWAG sustained its commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of young people, particularly through menstrual hygiene education and the provision of sanitary products. The Association also strengthened collaboration with local and international partners and was honoured by visits by the President of the Medical Women Association of Côte d’Ivoire and the International President of MWIA, Dr Amany Asfour.
The Zimbabwe Women Doctors Association (ZWDA) continued to strengthen professional connection, advocacy and leadership opportunities for women doctors in Zimbabwe during this quarter. Key activities included educational and women’s health initiatives, recognition of young women in medicine, and a member survey that is now shaping the Association’s strategic priorities.
